Cash withdrawal abroad. My experience with Revolut!

As I said on my last post I’m currently in Egypt for my internship through AIESEC’s program Global Entrepreneur. One of the first things I checked before coming here was the fees for cash withdrawals. My debit card had 4€ + 2% of withdrawal amount, so using it wasn’t an option!

Solution: Travelling Cards

If you scroll through Instagram and Facebook you are going to come across some travelling cards like N26 and Revolut.

For the first time I tried the N26 one but the app was so unusable that I dropped it in like a week.

So I’ve been using Revolut for all this time and the whole experience is totally perfect! The design of the app is the most impressive thing that can have everything you need in a bank in just a single app.

But we are here for the cash withdrawal right?

Well in the free membership you have a 200€ limit without any fees. After that there is only a 2% fee.

I’ve got a Metal membership there which give me things like 600€ cash withdrawal, Health insurance and some other stuff you can check in the picture below.

But no worries, the Standard free membership is more than enough!

You can join Revolut with the link and have your card delivered free at your home!
